Every student and alumni of most of courses gets exclusive access to the following events, at no extra charge.

We've committed to hosting twelve bonus events every year exclusively for our students and alumni. This means you get access to ongoing support and education, well beyond the primary courses you've enrolled in. Keep reading to see the currently scheduled events, included with your tuition.

Open Office Hours with John Claude Bemis

Join our children's book expert for a one hour discussion of writing and publishing.

John Claude Bemis is our resident expert on writing for children -- so come and join him for a live discussion and Q&A.

In the past year, he published a graphic novel with Penguin Random House. He's also previously published a picture books, and several middle grade novels with major publishers.

If you're curious about children's book writing, want to learn more about publishing, or simply want to stay part of our community, or have a specific question for John, then please join the event.
