Begin Again: A New Year of Poetry
A One-Day Workshop With Ella Peary

Begin the new year by returning to what matters most in your poetry practice—your purpose, your voice, and the quiet joy of language.
Begin Again: A New Year of Poetry is a one-day immersion designed to help you reconnect with your creative center.
Through guided reflection and gentle discussion, you’ll explore the evolving purpose behind your poems and set clear, heart-centered goals for the year ahead. You’ll also draft three new poems using generative prompts that invite your poetic purpose to the page. The workshop also includes space for revision and meaningful peer feedback within a supportive small group of poets.
In the final hour, you’ll have the freedom to choose your own path—whether that means asking the instructor questions, continuing to revise alongside fellow poets, or simply relaxing and connecting with others who share your love of language.
This is a day to write, reflect, and re-root yourself in the purposeful practice of poetry—to listen once more for the voice that says: I’m ready to begin again.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have three new drafts, one newly polished poem, and a renewed sense of purpose for your writing in the year ahead.
For those interested in participating, you’re encouraged to enroll right away.
